Child Autism UK is the largest provider of home-based early intervention programmes and ABA programmes in the UK.
The Child Autism UK team are currently working with University academics on an outcome study to further illustrate the efficacy of our services.
Child Autism UK’ CEO and clinical manager are both on the Board of the UK Society of Behaviour Analysts (UK-SBA) which ensures safe and professional practice in the field of Behaviour Analysis.
All Child Autism UK staff are part of a register of professionals that is regulated by the Professional Standards Authority.
All our staff adhere to the UKSBA Code of Professional and Ethical Conduct, and have up-to-date training and checks for:

- Safeguarding
- Positive Handling
- First Aid
- Insurance
Finance, Performance and Risk
Financial Management
Child Autism UK has robust financial management procedures. The management accounts are produced by an external accountant. Each month, the trustees receive a report outlining the month’s performance and year-to-date performance against budget and against the previous year.

Performance
Performance is monitored using a range of indicators, including a balanced scorecard produced monthly covering all key operational areas.
Risks
The trustees have assessed the major risks to which the charity is exposed, particularly those relating to its specific operational areas, investments, and finances. These risks are reviewed regularly.
Constitution and Members Liability
Child Autism UK (formerly known as Parents for the Early Intervention of Autism in Children) is constituted as a company limited by guarantee and was incorporated on 9 January 1997.
In the event of the company being wound up during the period of membership or with in the year following, the company members are required to contribute an amount not exceeding £10.
The company is registered under the Companies Act 2006 (Company registration 03300043 England and Wales) and under the Charities Act 1993 (Charity registration number 1063982).
