This course is designed for tutors who are or will be shadows in school, as well as parents and teachers who would like to better understand the role of a shadow.
About the course
The Effectively Supporting Autistic Children in School course includes information regarding ‘shadowing’ techniques, including prompting, reinforcement, task analysis, and promoting communication and interaction.
The course also includes a variety of ways in which the national curriculum can be differentiated within schools. It also addresses professionalism in schools, including working as part of the class team.
